Dunman is committed to moulding the Distinctive Dunmanite imbued with the attributes to face the challenges of life in a knowledge based economy. An important focus is ensuring that pupils can proceed effectively to the next level in the education system.

Dunman Secondary School has done exceptionally well for the GCE 'O' Level 2007 for both the Express and Normal Streams. Two students received 9 distinctions (8A1s and 1A2). 97.1% of Express Stream students qualify for JC while 40.9% of Normal Academic Stream students qualify for JC. 100% of Express students passed at least 5 subjects and 95.1% of students passed at least 7 subjects. 54.4% of students scored at least 5 distinctions. We are pleased that for the Sec 5 Normal Stream, Dunman has the lowest L1B4 nationally making it No. 1 in Singapore. For the GCE "O" Level 2008, Dunman has performed equally well with 94.6% of Express Stream students qualifying for Junior College and 100% for the Polytechnic. The school has achieved a Gold Award for consistently adding value to students for the past 4 years.
