The multi-tiered globally-linked Cisco Networking Academy Program was a bold step in synchronisation with the shifts of the post-modern era. Inaugurated in 2000, Dunman became a local academy supported by the Regional Academy at Temasek Polytechnic. The comprehensive 2 year e-learning program leads to an internationally recognised certification. Upholding the value of collaboration, the venture creates a global community of learners, including students, instructors, and partners in education, business, government and community.

The partnership was sealed with a new memorandum of understanding with Temasek Polytechnic in August of 2002 with the expiration of the previous contract.
