In 1985, Dr Chong, Vice Chairman of the SAC and member of the Rotary Club of Marina City explored the possibility of starting an Interact Club with Charter President Hector Charles, PP Dr K A Abraham, Mr Wong Hong Sze and Principal, Mr Johnny Lau. This led to the birth of the Dunman Interact Club in 1986 under the inspiring leadership of Mr Wilfred James. Every year since then, the President of the Rotary Club of Marina City is the joint Guest of Honour with the Principal at the annual Interact Club installation ceremony. From 1991, the Rotary Club has supported the annual Career Guidance Seminar at Dunman Secondary.
