Graduation Day 2006 which took place on 21 November, a day after the GCE 'O' Level Examination was a memorable and fun-filled event. After putting in a tremendous amount of effort for the examinations, it was a time for students to relax and let their hair down. At the same time, there was a sense of nostalgia among teachers and students as they would no longer be coming to school the following year but would be facing new challenges as they progressed to the next stage of their education and development.

After the PAE briefing and dissemination of testimonials and leaving certificates, the 'O' level students were joined by the 4NT students who had completed their examinations earlier and had prepared some special items for their classmates in the express stream.

As a farewell present and for being such wonderful students, all students were presented with a special key chain in the form of key with the 6 D's of a Distinctive Dunmanite engraved on it o remind students to be Disciplined, Determined, Daring, Dutiful, Diligent and Discerning in all that they undertook.

All students were assured that they would always be Dunmanites and the school would always be there for them if they faced any challenges they could not handle.

Students took the opportunity to give thanks to the school and teachers and share their feelings with all present.

A special CD ROM incorporating all the wonderful memories of their years with the school was presented to every student with the hope that students will treasure the CD and view it again and again many years down the road and perhaps show it to their future children and grandchildren.

Ms Tay Yian Ching, Hon Secretary of the Dunman Secondary Alumni took the opportunity to talk to encourage students to join the alumni as associate members until they come of age.
