Sport and Recreation Club
The Sport and Recreation Club was founded in 2005 with a simple objective – to encourage greater participation of physical activities in students. Since then, it has grown both in numbers of participants and its range of activities. In 2009, the students were offered a wide spectrum of activities like the all time favourites – in line skating, archery, rifle shooting, swimming, wushu and bowling to the “newer” and more daring sports like tchoukball, sport chanbara, golf, wind surfing and even mountain cycling!

Olympic Education
With the 1st Summer Youth Olympic Games less than two years away in Singapore, Dunman Secondary has embarked on the Olympic Journey by introducing an Olympic Education module. Through games, discussion and even video clips scattered throughout this module, students are taught various aspects of Olympism like its ideal, motto, symbol, values (like fairplay and sportmanship) as well its origin (i.e. ancient Olympic) and its future (i.e. Youth Olympic Games). |
