Department Vision :
A discerning Dunmanite who appreciates the environment, keeps
up to date on current issues and sees links between past,
present and future events.
Department Mission:
To achieve the above vision, the department aims to:
- Promote critical thinking skills through IT and indepedent research
- Promote awareness of local and global events through Humanities
- Raise awareness for the need to conserve the environment |

- Visit to aeroponics farms (Geography)
- Visit to Asian Civilisation Museum (History)
- Plantation tour to Malaysia (for Sec 2 pupils classes in Jun 07)
- Learning journeys to Paliament House (Social Studies - Sec 3s)
- Visit to HDB Hub (for Sec 4/5 pupils)
Enrichment Activities
- Project Work for Sec 3
An inter-disciplinary project by the Humanities and English Departments. Students work in groups to produce a podcast on current issues
- Senoko Weather Project
A project to explore the impact of the weather on people. This project is undertaken by the Sec 3 students. This year's project done by the "Chillers" won a commendation award
- Journal writing/personal reflection on issues related to Social Studies
