2008 has been a challenging and fruitful year for Dunman’s Volleyball Team, with our B Division boys achieving 3rd position and our C Division girls being crowned Champions in the East Zone Tournament. However, our greatest achievement this year will go to our C Division boys who defeated reigning champions St Hilda’s Secondary during the semi-finals and came in 1st Runner-Up in the National Volleyball Tournament. This historical win also marks our finest results in Dunman’s Volleyball history.

In preparation for our 2009 competitions, our B division boys will be embarking on a trip to Bangkok Thailand, where they will pit their skills against the finest players of the Kramkamhaeng University. As for our C Division Champion girls, they will be scaling to greater heights as this will be their maiden year playing in B Division against stronger and more experienced competitors. With the experience of our ex-Olympic-player Coach, Mr Shen Ke Qin, our B Division girls aim to surprise many schools again with their outstanding performance. Our C division boys and girls are also gearing up for the coming Under-13 Tournament held in November – December.  Under the professional guidance of Mr Lew Chin Oon and Mdm Chen Yi Yi, both the teams are ready to create waves in the Volleyball arena.  

Our players have made many personal sacrifices and undergone many trials and tribulations to make it this far. We are confident that under the guidance of our coaches, coupled with DETERMINATION and DILIGENCE, our volleyball teams will be DARING enough to bring more glory to Dunman in the years ahead.
