Robotics Club

Teacher-In-Charge:
Mr Ng Aik Koon

2009 saw a new Robotics Club room slowing “transforming” from a empty, dusty room to one functional and cozy little “planet” for club’s “robots” to live in.  Work is still in-progress to turn it into an even more conducive clubroom, where we hope the members will be proud to call it their own room.

Robotics Club took part in the LEGO RoboFest 2009 in March and our members gained invaluable experience from this competition. In this competition, they had to program a LEGO autonomous robot to follow a pathway and to avoid obstacles to reach the destination. This competition also served as a wrap-up for the members who will be graduating this year.

In July, the club went for the 19th Singapore Inter-School Micromouse Competition and the East Zone DSO-DSTA Robotics Challenge 2009.

The Robotics Club would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Samuel Chee and his team of trainers from Enhance Training Consultancy for coaching the young robots in the area of LEGO.
