The year 2008 marks a fresh start for the Dunman PA Club as a 2nd CCA, we welcome, with much anticipation, the long-awaited new multi-purpose hall with various new audio equipments and systems. During the demolishment of the old school hall, a good majority of the PA Crew bravely fought back tears in trying to withstand the loss of this familiar nostalgic space, which was once a second home to them. Yet, a new hall was necessary to fulfill the needs of the future in a constantly upgrading society. With that, the PA crew looked forward confidently to the new multi-purpose hall.
It was a great pity that our trained and experienced seniors have either graduated or stepped down due to their preparations for the upcoming ‘O’ Levels. The junior PA crew also lost many valuable O.J.T. (On the Job Training) opportunities due to the absence of a school hall during PRIME (Hall: June 2007 – July 2008). Nevertheless, the PA Crew will strive to face and overcome all challenges because we believe in the motto we hold so dear in our hearts, “We can do it and we will always make it happen”.
Let us then welcome the new multi-purpose hall for all school events, be it Speech Day, International Cultural Exchange Programmes, National Day celebrations or Teachers’ Day concerts. Together as a team of very enthusiastic Dunmanites, we will continue to provide excellent service to keep up the good name of Dunman Secondary School.
