In the year 2009, both our “B” Division and “C” Division Boys participated in the annual East Zone Table-Tennis Tournament held at Loyang Secondary School. The players learnt the importance of team work, discipline, perseverance and sportsmanship through their participation in the tournament. In addition, we have also played in friendly matches with other schools and this has not only allowed our players to gain more exposure to different levels of opponents but has also helped in building friendships.

I have never regretted choosing Table Tennis as my CCA. Compared to other sports CCAs, Table Tennis has more of the fun element which is present at all times. Furthermore, being in this CCA and participating in it has taught me various valuable skills. For example, in a doubles match, we learn co-operation and co-ordination between partners. These are important qualities in the working society. Although Table Tennis, as a CCA, is currently not a niche in the school, I do hope that it will soar to greater heights. With everyone’s effort, I believe we can bring glory to our school and the CCA.

All it takes is a tiny bit of interest, an interest that has undoubtedly blossomed into a great love for the sport of table tennis.  I first began playing table tennis in the autumn of 2004, when the Olympics was taking place. Later, my recreational playing grew into a regular training schedule, and by January 2008 I simply needed more opportunities to play, and more people to play against. As a result, I joined the Table Tennis CCA in our school, thus growing my passion for this sport. It requires a high level of psychological diathesis, which is also useful for the rest of our lives. Moreover, it is convenient to play, as there are table-tennis tables at the void deck of some HDB flats.

I joined Table-Tennis as it is fun and enjoyable. It is also very interesting and challenging as there is more to the game than what meets the eye. I can also make new friends who share the same interest as me.

I joined Table-Tennis as it is fun and thrilling. Watching Li Jia Wei play in the Beijing Olympics motivated me to join the CCA.  A lot of skills are involved in playing the game well.
